Thread Compound

In 2005, TRC developed, in conjunction with an established thread compound company, an excellent thread compound specifically designed for sucker rods, called Titanium Rod Compound.

There was a need for this compound because in practice, most rods are made-up using grease, oil, a combination of grease and oil, pipe dope, or nothing at all.   TRC’s compound offers superior corrosion protection and helps prevent galling.
